The Heavy Duty Signature Wagon has an 80 cu. ft. carrying capacity with a maximum load of 1500 lbs. Although similar in style to the Signature Wagon it is designed to carry much heavier loads.
The undercarriage is made of 8 ft 4" X 4" lumber. The flooring is 8 ft 2" X 12" boards.
The sturdy spooked wheels have roller bearings and use 400 X 18 implement tires.
Despite its heavy duty construction, it rolls very easily. On reasonably level ground one person can pull it with very little effort. The large wheels make it easy to maneuver over rough ground with your lawn or garden tractor.
The 4 foot width means that it can be pulled into even modest horse barns and stalls for loading and unloading.
The automobile style steering means that the wagon has maximum stability even when turning on steep or rough ground.
Just as with the Signature Wagon its heavy duty cousin is available in several materials and finishes.
Painted untreated wood: The colors are green and yellow. For other colors please call us when you order your wagon to determine pricing and availability.
Cedar: Cedar provides good weather resistance and reduces the weight of the wagon without compromising its carrying capacity.
Varnished Oak: Our heavy duty oak wagons are the strongest wagons we make. Their clear polyurethane finish gives them an extremely attractive appearance as well as excellent weather protection.
